Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice POSTERS

Zack Snyder just tweeted out what look like the first two official posters for his upcoming super on super film with the tags #MondayBvSSpecialIMAXEvent #BatmanvSuperman

Can we assume these will probably be the swag he spoke of for attendees of Monday's IMAX extended trailer event?

Who's side will you be on?

New Poster: Tomorrowland

Looks gorgeous...as I'm sure the film will be.

Jurassic World Posters and Clip

If you're like me, every time new content for the upcoming Jurassic World movie is released you become tachycardic, your palms sweat, and you look to the nearest glass of water for ripples. Sadly, I can't bring you a T-Rex, but here is the next best thing. The newest official posters:

And here's a little something extra, the first official clip from the movie with Chris Pratt explaining how he "controls the raptors."

Nerd Recap: Star Wars Celebration 2015

I haven't posted in quite awhile as you can tell. That tends to happen with blogs I guess. As I've said before though, I'm going to try and keep things going here. It becomes increasingly difficult I feel in today's Internet to filter through all the crazy news of a million blogs/twitter feeds/news outlets and walk away feeling like you didn't really miss anything from the day. In my eternal attempt to be one of those filters, I give you the first Nerd Recap!

The first update is of course focused on Star Wars Celebration 2015 taking place this weekend in Anaheim, California. If you're human you already know the new teaser for Episode VII was shown and officially released. Unaware of the validity of the statement, there were a couple articles circulating that claimed analysts figured the release of this trailer generated approximately $2 billion in additional brand worth for Disney...I'll agree. Also, according to Kathleen Kennedy the teaser was viewed around 88 million times in its first 24hrs online. I can personally say about 100 of those views came from here.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (teaser #2)

Now by no means was that all the Star Wars news that came out of Star Wars Celebration this weekend. It's actually still going on as we speak I type this. Some of the other big highlights include The Force Awakens panel itself that opened #SWCA. Check out the official highlight reel below.

Star Wars Celebration 2015: The Force Awakens Panel Highlights

Also, while I'm slowly inching my way into the animated Star Wars universe myself, the trailer for Season 2 of Rebels was premiered and it looks AMAZING! #AhsokaLives, #DarthVader, #RexLives

Star Wars Rebels Season Two (trailer #1)

Let's now forget about the video game that is going to re-awaken everyone's inner 90's child...Star Wars Battlefront, coming to your next gen console or PC this November.

Star Wars Battlefront Reveal Trailer

The last thing on the Star Wars front (as of the writing of this article) would have to be the reveal of official info on the first standalone film Star Wars: Rogue One which apparently will be focusing on rebel pilots (including the awesome Felicity Jones) stealing the plans for the Death Start between Episodes III and IV, meaning there will be no Jedi in the film...interesting! They apparently debuted some concept art and an official logo (see below courtesy of @bcbishop). Also, twitter is saying a short teaser of sorts was shown, not officially up yet...but keep an eye out!

Star Wars Celebration 2015 is still going strong, so keep it tuned to your favorite blog or starwars.com for the latest as it wraps up.

Fantastic Four Trailer #2

If you're like me, the new Fantastic Four has been growing on you with every single new leak, screen cap, and now trailer release. I think we can officially start to get very excited with this movie now.

Twitter Clipper - Wednesday (7/23/14)

In an effort to deliver fun, informative, and more frequent posts, I've decided to birth a new idea onto Android Aaron today...drum roll...now introducing Twitter Clipper!

Now I know that doesn't rhyme or alliterate, but it's the catchiest name I could come up with for this while I was waiting for my Crucible match to populate on Destiny...so we're going to roll with it. Oh, and "it" is going to be regular screencaps from my personal twitter feed (@muddobber107) that thought were interesting or cool. You know, the sort of tweets that make you stop scrolling through all the daily quotes, news headlines, "what I'm eating for lunch today" updates, etc. Standard convention would dictate I re-tweet these, but I thought it would be cool to showcase some things here. Let me know if you like it!

DESTINY: From Alpha to Beta

I'm a casual gamer, but definitely pride myself on keeping up with the newest gaming news. While I might not always enjoy the newest and most highly rated games that IGN blesses, I love to keep on with the excitement so if I do dig what the developers are throwing down I don't waste anytime in picking up that controller. Naturally this makes me a big fan of E3 and Sony's Conference in particular. This year, this lead me to signing up for Bungie's alpha test for their new title DESTINY...which blew. me. away!

I don't need to write another review here that echos the consensus of so many fans, but in a nutshell I would describe DESTINY as a cleaner, smoother, prettier, Halo that compliments this next gen console culture. Specifically, the DESTINY Alpha as compared to the Beta was pretty similar. The biggest difference seems to be an expansion of the in-game storytelling in this latest release, including a couple new game modes. Also, the voice of your companion Ghost has been slightly altered in the wake of some criticism in the Alpha over this line. Now in the Beta, the wonderful Peter Dinklage is slightly more digitized sounding...which I got used to very quickly.

Knowing that the Alpha and Beta were fairly similar, including the annoying Level 8 character cap, the biggest difference in experience between the two involved my involvement in The Crucible (which is DESTINY's PVP multiplayer). I've never been a huge fan of CoD and PVP focused gameplay, but something about the connection I felt with my Guardian and immersiveness of the gameplay made me want to take my Warlock into the Crucible to prove something. Now I sound like a rep from Bungie...but it's true!

So enough of that. I plan to followup with a more comprehensive review after release in September, but until then if you haven't been fortunate enough to experience DESTINY firsthand (and you have a PS4 in North America) please grab one of the codes below and redeem here to be ready to jump in for the final leg of the beta test July 23 - 27

If you successfully redeem a code, please be courteous and post below letting everyone know it's taken. People tend to forget that PSN has a cap on the number of codes you can attempt to redeem in a day...they'll lock your account for a 24hr period...trust me!

Also, I should have 2 Xbox 360 codes to give out once they're released later this week. Let me know below if you're interested in one.

UPDATE: Bungie just sent out access codes to the remaining systems re-opened the Beta early for everyone. Here's my last Xbox 360:
